I'LL STILL CALL PPL N00BS AND IT'LL MEAN WHAT I WANT IT TO MEAN! IF PPL THEN SAYS: U DON'T EVEN KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN N00B AND NEWB THEN I'LL ASK THEM: SO WHAT, N00B? CUS IT DOESN'T MATTER TO ME... I'M THE ONE THAT SAYS IT AND I'M THE ONE THAT MEANS IT. (I'M A **N00B** THAT DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO TURN CAPS LOCK OFF). IN MOST SITUATIONS I'M NOT GIVING THE N00B THAT'S OFFENDING ME THE ATTENTION HE WANTS... ONLY IF THEY'RE LUCKY N00BS
AND HERE'S WHAT I MEAN WHEN I SAY N00B: RETARD, NOT ABLE TO THINK RIGHT, GAY, AS DUMB AS BIEX OR THAT GUY CALLED RAGNAR USING A REMUS SKIN(HE'S DICKHEAD), N00BS, AND A LOT MORE!

Ok, here's the deal. It bugs me when people call newbs for n00bs, cos they think its the same. I thought so too, until there was this discussion about it faaar back on an old forum. Being a n00b has nothing to do with being a newb. The definition of newbie is a quite simple: A newbie is a person who's simply new to what he's doing, and therefor unexperienced. The definition of 'n00b' is something different, though it might look the same sometimes: A n00b is a person who can't behave correctly according to the unwritten rules. They often insult people, saying crap. N00bs are often people that are not so good at english, and therefor don't do what the rules say. Mostly, n00bs are little boys in the age of 7~13 that dont understand a fuck about anything and are just extremely childish.. (.. Do I have to say any names here?) ... At least that just about what the smart guys said at that forum.. And those smart guys really ARE smart.. They're people who've been on the internet since 1980 -_- ... I just wanted to say this, cos it's kinda bugging me when people call newbs for n00bs.. Cos a n00b is something far worse. Errm... got any counter-arguments? Btw, I found 2 FAQuestions where it stands that N00B=NEWBIE, they say its the same.. You can find it in the support section at: www.project-entropia.com and I think I was it at: www.worldofwarcraft.com

Are you seriously discussing the semantics of "newb" and "n00b"?
;D
Here's an argument for you: Who the fuck cares what they think, they just got "pwned"!

Noob = Newbie (new player, begginner)
We have another word for stupid dumb retarded and unable to: think, speak proper english, cheating etc...
And that word is Lamer. But the word nOOb has replaced Lamer lately I think.
