Q: What do I need to run "The SoulKeeper" once released?
A: UT2004. If that changes, rest assured we will post about it on the forums, the official SK site and all the major Unreal Community news sites.
Q: Is "The SoulKeeper" an RPG?
A: No. It is an action combat game. But its universe can be used for an RPG too, as well as for strategy and so on.
Q: Is "The SoulKeeper" single player?
A: No. At the moment it is multi player, but there are plans for a SP version in the distant future.
Q: What classes are there in "The SoulKeeper"?
A: There are 3 major classes; Melee Combat Class, Ranged Combat Class, Spellcaster/Mage Class. Each class has its subclasses. More information about these, will be documented and posted in a player's manual format. When that happens we will post about it on the SK forums and the SK site.
Q: Is it 1st person, 3rd or both?
A: Melee combat will be done only in 3rd person, while Ranged and Spellcasting combat will be done in both 3rd and 1st person view.
Q: How many gametypes will it feature?
A: Not exactly sure at the moment. But we have already designed at least 3 types, Team DeathMatch, Besieged, Escort. More information about these, will be documented and posted in a player's manual format. When that happens we will post about it on the SK forums and the SK site.
Q: How many races will it feature?
A: We have designed 8 races, but in a first release we will probably include 2 or 3. However the SK universe is an ever expanding one, therefore we can always add more races.
Q: Since "The SoulKeeper" is multi-player, what's the purpose of having a story, and how does it relate to the game?
A: There will be in-game cinematics which will provide information about the races you choose to play with, as well as the locations you will be playing in. While multi-player, the SK will have a solid story which will be immediately connected to the game. It will also prepare the grounds for a future single-player version.
Q: It has been in development a bit less than a year. When will it be released? And why isn't it already released like so many other mods/games?
A: We are trying for a summer 2004 first public release. However this is not an official release date. We believe in both quality and quantity. We don't want our game to feel rushed or half done, as we are treating as a game really, rather than as a mod. We are following all the aspects of game development and using a LOT of custom content, while trying to bring a new experience to the gaming community, which has never been seen before. Therefore we will release once we feel ready. (But we are not planning to beat DNF's record )

A: Dragons, horses, tigers, and many more. We are still designing them and dividing them in mount classes and subclasses, so we cannot provide much more info at this stage.
